A few days have passed and the time has really gotten away from me. I’m a few poems behind, so I am posting one today and praying to the poetry deities that this one will count as three. Or perhaps I’ll just post two poems one day next week to make up for it. We will see. Whew! Doing NaPoWriMo while working isn’t easy, but I love the challenge!

If one poem could equal to three

This one would have to suffice for thee

It’s been busy and hectic and all the rest

Because running two businesses is the ultimate test

From sun up to dusk my brain is on full throttle

Oh to be the winner of a 10M dollar lotto

Then I’d be relaxing, traveling, reading and writing

Living the life of a full-time author would be so exciting

But until that day of ultimate luxury and security

I have hustle and go get it because it won’t just come to me

So dear poetry will you please forgive me

I promise to complete NaPoWriMo if you accept my apology
