NaPoWriMo #3 – National Poetry Writing Month
Social Media Soup
Tumbling
into mind spaces
tasting delicious cultures
admiring digitized faces in e-books and journals
never disconnected
always linked in
locked
into you
twittering through many mediums
they call me hipster and flixster
as i flex across the spectrum
checking in constantly
we’re arm in arm
although worlds apart
i see you there
posted up magnificently on four square
bing!
your message just came through
what wonderful news
intoxicated by communication
buzzed
fueled evermore by constant yammering
my brain never rests
my eyes tire
sleep beckons
i snore, but social images flicker endlessly
still

nice..would like to read more…
Thanks Sneha. I usually write more long-form poetry, but in order to do one a day for 30 days, I’m trying to keep them brief.
Have a great day!

It’s still early Jim. I hope I can keep it up. Thanks!
This one made me smile. It takes a lot of presence and concentration to produce whimsy, contrary to what some may think. This was delightful! 🙂
