Admission: I’m an indie author who is working on becoming a hybrid author.
Meaning, I want a traditional book deal and the ability to create shorter works that I can sell and share with my readers independently.
Well, I am closer to my goal because I now have a book out! Most of you know that I self-published a new novella entitled 12 Hours of Daylight and it is now available in e-book and paperback!
Since I self-published the e-book with BookBaby, it will be available on the following book retailer channels:
Here are some quick links so it will be easy for you to find it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, iBooks and Kobo. It’s also available via Goodreads, but it will take a little longer (a week or two) for the novella to be available on the other listed channels.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the paperback! I’m getting close to selling 50 copies so far with minimal promotion. I will be pushing much harder now that the e-book is out and I look forward to your feedback about what you think of the story.
If you read the novella already and would like to talk about it, you’re invited to join the Tameka Mullins Book Club, a closed group I created on Facebook to have a place for my readers to get together. Please also review the book on Amazon and Goodreads as those reviews will help me build a larger community and make it easier for me to sell my work in the future.
I am also planning on having some giveaways and other events this year to promote the work and to celebrate. I always thought my first book would be a traditional title that sold to a big publisher, but this book launch feels amazing and I’m proud of myself because I was able to get this done on my own efforts.
Thanks again for your support! Without readers, writing wouldn’t be as much fun!
For a sneak peek of the book, check out my book promo video. Let me know what you think in the comments!
If you have read 12 Hours of Daylight, leave your thoughts below as well and please give me a review on Amazon!
