Most of you know that my lit agent is working on getting my book, Letters to Chyna published and there are some amazing things happening behind the scenes that I can’t talk about yet, but in the meantime, I have some news about another book I’m working on.
12 Hours of Daylight is a novella that tells the story of a young single dad living in Los Angeles who works at a job that not many could handle while trying to raise his two young children. There will be passages that will make your heart rate increase and others that will make you cry. It’s an emotional tale that you will get lost in!
It will be available for purchase (barring any scheduling delays) in late October or early November!
You can keep track of the publication date by checking the count down clock on the front page of my website at the bottom.
In the coming months, I will feature some book teasers, updates, contests, event news and more. This is what I love about being a hybrid author. You can pursue a traditional deal and still share your work with your audience. In fact, the two things benefit the other. I hope to get to know a lot of you by sharing this novella and others I’m planning to write and hope that you will stick with me until I get my full-length novel published.
Oh! I almost forgot, Another short story I submitted is being included in Welcome Home an Anthology, a collection of stories about adoption that will be published in Fall 2017! This means the world to me as an adult adoptee. Any chance I get to write about adoption I will because when we share our stories and experiences, we can have a major impact on others. As much as I love the creative aspect of writing, whenever I can share information that helps someone through my writing, that is the ultimate bonus! Here is a promo teaser for the anthology:
Okay, I need to get back to writing, so if you have any questions, well wishes or prayers for me, please leave them below! Thanks as always for your support!
