Haiku 3 Ways – Day 3 of NaPoWriMo

haiku-three-ways-lemon-chocolate

It’s Day 3 of NaPoWriMo and I’m still cooking with gas!

So much so, that I’ve created today’s poetic offering with food in mind. In fact, I’ve mixed my two favorite things, haiku and cuisine.

Let me know what you think in the comments and also visit some of the other poets who are participating. You may get inspired to join in with us! Happy National Poetry Month!

For now, here is Haiku 3 Ways:

1st Course – Bitter

touched with lemon juice

submerged with salt and spices

orgasm for your sole

2nd Course – Sweet

a fruit explosion

molecularly frozen

curls my toes and lips

3rd Course: Alcohol

a crystal flute leads

to sultry summer hijinks

let the sweet notes play

      Thank you! I feel asleep watching the Food Network last night. I’m hoping I keep getting inspired for the rest of the month. 🙂
