My Blog Lyric Fire: National Poetry Month-NaPoWriMo #18-Deconstructed

NaPoWriMo – National Poetry Writing Month

Day 18 of the poetry challenge finds me in a strange place. The following creation is a little weird, but so what. So am I. So there. Read this one backwards and forwards for varied inflections and meaning. Poetry for your battered soul. One Love.

Deconstructed

talking through finger print stained glass

silver shackles

marijuana trees

lines of coke

charred chemistry book abandoned in squatters building

one parent home

loss of wages

honeymoon cruise

pregnant joy

baby bib with dried crusted carrot puree

toys framing white carpet

one fish two fish red fish blue fish

normal wailing in the afternoon

let’s go for a ride with mommy

deep deep down into the cold dark sea

family plot is water based

smith and wesson invitational

no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

not at this time

greatness is evident, but…

inspirational jubilation

success just on the outskirts of reality

Nothing wrong with experimentation. I think this poetry challenge is perfect for that. I like it forwards and especially backwards! <3

  2. Hey Sweepy Jean! Thanks girl. I’m feeling a bit dark these days and I’m allowing it to come out in the writing. Better on the page than somewhere else, right? 😉
Thanks for stopping in, my friend!
